So basically I'm looking to buy a headset as I've been using in-ear headphones for the last 3-4 years. I've been researching for the past week, also checked out the most recent topics here on the forum, yet I can't make a decision. The only headset that caught my attention was Fox's

For the price point it seems excellent according to reviews on  Youtube and tech forums, but it worries me that it's not USB as I only have an on-board audio card and my current microphone is extremely quiet, unless I boost it at which point it starts picking up heavy background noise (it only cost 5 euros though). The only USB alternative I've found for the price point was

The price I'm looking for is about 40 euros and both of these fit that, I'm just unsure of the 3.5 mm connection type. Any thoughts on the topic would be appreciated.

I personally use this headset here: http://www.amazon.co...s=sades headset

Most people prefer wireless headsets, but I love the wired ones. It's not messed up once, it worked instantly when I put it in the usb slot and it's great quality for how cheap it is. I think there is a wireless version of it as well. Either way, this is a brilliant headset.

This is sadly not on the market here, I guess it needs to be from a more international brand. I'd love a wireless headset, I can just imagine the freedom it will give me, but I doubt there are any for 40 euros.

I have bought this and I am quite satisfied with it.

It filters out external noise very well and the overall quality of the speakers and microphone is good. It also comes with surprisingly useful software which allows you to adjust the headphones for gaming, movies or music (preset settings or more detailed manual). The virtual 7.1 is useful in FPS. Vibration is interesting, I use it when I listen to music, it adds depth to it. Foldable mic which turns off when it is up.

It's a bit over my budget but not so much that I can't save up for a bit longer. I also looked at the Creative Fatal1ty which gets praised a lot, but it's almost impossible to find. I can literally order it from USA and with delivery it will still be cheaper than buying it here, they pump up the price because it's rare. It still looks a bit expensive though, considering how little room there is for your ear.

Maybe. The thing is I'm more confused now than before I asked people, they just gave me a whole bunch of headsets more to compare :D

So how about them Logitech G430? I'll just save for a month longer since it's way out of my budget.

Ok, thanks for the help! I ended up ordering the G430 after all.
