I think the waiting area should be behind those fences in the 2nd and 3rd picture, it looks a bit bare :P

awesome map in my opinion, though the corner can create big chaos especially with ones that keep using sidepipes

Not particularly, but y'know if my car is sliding all over the place, my car will only crash into others causing their immediate death! :)

Well it could depend if its meant to be ice or not, could be some sort of snowtrack too , where you don't slide but can't turn that good

Although, it would be kinda cool to have like, a small part of the map as a frozen lake for everyone to slide across. xD

I personally would say make it slightly slippy. The reason being it could give it a bit of a bigger challenge for completing the map and will not be as easy for us guys with the faster cars.

Some of the textures seem rather stretched on your cliff-side (displacements?) also looking a bit too cubed at the moment, still...

Looking forward to seeing more.

Frag if as i said in the thread i will be smoothing almost every mountain side/cliff

Looks like a great map but please tell me you're not going to make us drive on ice :(

Daniel, don worry i edited the texture so it won't be slippery!

Although, it would be kinda cool to have like, a small part of the map as a frozen lake for everyone to slide across. xD

Good idea James, i will keep that in mind!

I'm not a big expert when it comes to textures, i don't think you can make that. i have either slippery or not slippery textures, nothing in between, sorry

I'm more concerned about your textures, they look over stretched in places and look weird, regarding the smoothing, yeah you can smooth but if your using a weird sized face then it will still look cubed and pointy.
