Rider said it, Tekkit makes it easier.

If using Creative on the server bothers you all so much, Commander always suggested something else: you build the thing in single-player using the world seed, take pics, let it be approved or not, and Commander can add it on the server. Simple, and anyone can do it.

Eh I actaully did not suggest it in that way, we talked about this in steam for 1 building you wanted to finish it for the spawn so I suggested that, but I did not suggest it in the way like everyone can do this.

Too bad that micro blocks are not up to date

Yeah it made me cry :S xD

Spawn cities which are built with resources gathered by you and your friends are always better than ones made in creative

I absolutely agree with this. I think spawncities are cool, but creative is pointless.

There are two reasons to use creative in a construction:
1. The materials are too rare or expensive to get from Survival
2. The construction is too big to use survival resources

Of course these two can factor in together: netherquartz isn't all that rare, but making a house out of it requires LOTS of resource gathering.
However, nice spawncities don't come from huge cathedrals or diamond houses, they come from creativity and good design.

Really, with stone, logs, wood and torches you can make the best shit, if you just know how to.

Once you see the spawncity, you'll understand that those two conditions are generally met. I would give you pics or even descriptions, but I don't think Commander or Dart would approve of my leaking.
I don't leak anymore, remember that for the election day
Suffice it to say, they wanted a spawncity before the launch, and there wasn't any reason not to make it in creative. I've suggested to them that we allow people to keep expanding the spawncity, but I haven't been given a clear answer to that matter.

No doubt that would be a lot of fun, but it's not the matter here. All discussion regarding the spawncity are off-topic.

pls infract yourself

So, no one likes the idea? :(
