My Suggestions:

Thaumcraft 3
Equivalent Exchange THREE (Not Two, This is the new one, without all the fancy smhancy EMC thingies that let you get everything.)
Forestry + Extra Bees
Portal Gun
Mystcraft ( Even with a good server, I reccomend a lock of 1-3 ages per person )
Ender Storage
Twilight Forest
Thermal Expansion (BuildCraft equivalent of Macerators and stuff)
Graviton Suit ( Its an upgrade from Quantom, Lets you fly, Chews up EU very quickly)
Greg Tech ( Balances IC2 recepies )
Nuclear Control ( For the Reactors, Duh )

But I do wish to know exactly what will be banned, Because if you remove ALL automation from mods, They will be pretty much useless End tierish.

^That and gravity gun mod, do want.

What Kalle said. Mainly the mods that don't add too much new stuff & don't change the already existing mechanisms.

EDIT: Ninja;
Example: (idk the mod names) mods that are in tekkit which allows you to skip mining because quarries etc do it for you

I don't believe Tekkit actually alters any Vanilla recipes. It just builds on what's already there. It doesn't remove or replace anything.

Auto workbenches are just convinience, they do not generate any resources for you. Those can be in can't they?

Yeah, same for distribution pipe and crafting table II and III. They really make everything so less hectic.

QUESTION:
Can you give me:

1. A DEFINITE list of all the mods included
2. A CONSIDERED list of all the mods
3. A IMPOSSIBLE list of all the mods

Basically all the mods that ARE, MIGHT BE and WONT BE in the pack.

Solar panels are only a problem if there is UU matter that can be turned into anything.
If you remove the recipe so that UU matter can only be turned into iridium then all problems are solved. (Oh and quarries I guess)
