And also the TTT is up thread was locked.

So here I am, creating a new thread for all of you, use this thread to post bugs and shizz in regards to the TTT server.

And I'll post updates and testing announcements here too!

Rare bugs:
-Identifying bodies shows innocents as traitiors (2 cases happend to me)
-Muzzle flashes coming from guns that are not firing ( Numerous cases)
-AWP sometimes doesnt do damage trough glass (one case of this)

Common Bugs:
-Tripmine is really hard to place. (needs placement range buff)
-HITBOXSES, FUCKING HITBOXSES.

About the tripmine its not the original model for me.

The original model was a smoke grenade with a laser pointer commander, this is the LEM model from half life 2 ep. 2

@Frag is it possible to fix the icon for the tripmine in the traitor shop? it's just made out of black purple squares

You are seeing the right model, i think everybody sees that model :) And it's a good one.
How many ranked players did it take to deal with a simple RDM? 3-4 Trusteds and a Moderator

That is the correct model.

Update on the vote system, all map names now get sorted out and tidied up before getting displayed, below you can see this with the ttt_ prefix maps in the vote :D

Why is it green though when it's locked out, wouldnt light-grey or red make more sense? :)
Just a general suggestion, over all it's pretty damn neat of course.

Green kinda gives the impression that you should pick that map or that map will be next on. I think Red would be better.

As for bugs, no damage gets dealt if the player that caused the damage is dead. (Like what I showed you on your tester server.) So if you throw a fire nade down and someone kills you, the fire will then do no damage to anyone. (Even though it shows up in the logs.) It mainly effects fire nades, C4, turrets, pain stations and I suspect it's what effects the thrown knives.

Oh, and when a T uses the other dead T's pain station it lowers the placer of the stations karma and gets them karma banned if spammed.

Also on fall damage, on one map, Revengekeuh pushed me off the lighthouse, got killed and i survived without taking damage. And no, it wasnt a surf part, it was just normal flat ground.

It's part of what I was talking about too. He was going to deal damage to you by pushing you off the edge but he died before you hit the floor so you took no damage. (But, once again the damage will be in the logs.)

The first two can probably be solved by requesting an update by recording then stopping a demo. Apparently making a command to just request the update is too damn difficult.

The AWP through glass was probably either a miss due to HITBOXES or the glass being non-shoot-throughable.

Hitboxes are Gmod's fault, but I think that a lot of actual hits are not being registered simply due to server choke because the game sucks. On that subject, I think ErLite actually confirmed that hitting hitboxes doesn't always cause blood, and getting blood doesn't always mean you hit the hitbox. He played locally, eliminating any ping/lag issues, and shot a stationary enemy. Got blood, but no damage.

Don't know if that has been mentioned before, but tripmines don't show on the radar for traitors.
Also, tripmines explode when traitors walk through.
Also, tripmines explode when damaged.

I still think the P90 could use a buff. Currently it's just a straight downgrade to the mac10. Slow fire rate, same magazine size, similar reload time, too much kick, not enough damage. Sadly, I've never had a worse P90 than on our server.

Yeah the P90 used to be a great weapon, I don't know what happened to it to be make it suck so bad, I've do a couple of tweaks to it and the changes are now on the server, tell me how it feels now.

I've removed tripmines as I've found garry has messed about with ents being networked >_<
