Well,

I'm stuck on the first line since 2 or 3 days, I need to find a way - and the time - to start my thread.
The main idea is to share my feelings about Campzone with you, and to show how it was important to me.
I expect it's going to push some people to join Campzone 2013, because it's not a simple LAN party.

There's tons of communities all over Internet, LDT is a good one, but there's plenty of. We get easily addicted by forums and servers (When they are online :P), but personnaly, I need more, especially after 1 year sitting here.

I needed to see how the people are in real life, this was the second step.
I was surprised by the amount of friendly and active people in our group.
It's good to see that computers are not everything for the people I met.

It's much more a human experience than a gaming experience. The forums fights, the servers problems are really far from my mind. LDT is something bigger, even if 99,9% happens behind our screens.

Think about 2013 guys, try to spare money for it, try to keep this event in your mind, because you SHOULD come. A few times in your life, you have the opportunity to link your passions with real life, Just do it.

There's plenty of people who will help for transports and to make you feel comfortable there.
Feel free to ask my questions about this experience, if you have any doubts about anything.

I would like to make a short review of CZ 2012 LDT group, because they deserve it.

================================

Bob, Psycix and Gio and Kawai :

They are friendly people, allways helpful, thinking about people, smart about the organisation, they have nice ideas, and for people who are wondering about this : They are not arrogant at all :P
I was glad to see that they are nice persons IRL, and I'd definitly love to see them IRL again.

Special mention to Kawai, She cares about people every day !

Ed and Blackheart :

Awesome guys :P

Ed is really a funny guy, allways smiling !
I thought he was a geek because of his surf skills, but he's definitly the opposite :P

Blackheart gave us some good laughs ! He's also definitly a friendly guy, I would love to meet him again at CZ 2013.

Tsjokko and nesrual :

I didn't know them before, I can't say a lot about them, except that they friendly.

JJ and Loadingue :

JJ is a funny guy, but he's from norway :P (Joke ! )
That was good to meet him IRL, and I hope to see him next year !

Loadingue ! As expected, he's a friendly guy, but discreet :P
I just hope he's going to move a bit more with us outside of the party tent ;)

Kronasus : He's a nice guy, I really enjoyed to meet him, even if it was for 1 day !
I hope you are going to spend a week with us next year :P
=================================================

Wait, someone is missing.... May be Sourgoat ? :P

Well... He deserves more than 1 line.

During the past year, I wasn't very close to sourgoart.
I thought he was a dick, and I my thought about him didn't go more far.

He's the best surprise I had in campzone, definitly.

Sourgoat can be a dickhead sometimes on forums, but It's not enough to judge him.
It's a part of something much bigger. He has the balls to say what he thinks, sometimes too much, but still.

He's also smart, and aware of importants things for his age, more than the average. He knows what humility is, he knows about respect IRL, he's a very active and smiling guy. It was a real pleasure to meet him at CZ, and my opinion about him totally changed.

Sourgoat, I'm waiting for you next year :)

====================================

A big thanks to those people, because it's going to be an awesome SOUVENIR because of all of you ;)

To the others : I really missed some of you, we were a bit far from forums and TS, but I hope that seeing us at CZ showed you that LDT is awesome.
Servers are not running since a long time, I know it's frustrating for tons of people, but be patient, as I need to be (Easy to say - Hard to do) and help this awesome community to rebirth during august !

The final word : I'm sorry again for not responding on steam or TS the past 15 days, I'll be Back !! :P

Also : I'm not going to make any gathers for a while, because my server cost a lot, and I prefer to donate to LDT in order to see the servers online.

Baguette hugs !

Yeah you made campzone a little bit better for everyone in that tent I think metadone, in some way for each person. It was kinda shitty to see you leave early, even if it was 2 days early.

Hopefully we'll all see each other next year, with even more people for me to harass! :D

I've pointed this out to some people IRL:

CampZone is an Outdoor Lan Party, right? :P
This is how those elements came forward to us:

The Outdoor part was sufficiently prominent.
We spent hours outside of the tent, which was great, of course! :)
Playing football, playing volleyball, having pool fun, getting groceries, or just relaxing.

The Party part was, maybe a tad excessively prominent.
Maybe some less puking next time? xD So that it wouldn't render us wasted the day after as well.
Nonetheless, probably the most important part of the event too. :D
Bottoms up!

The LAN part, however, was hardly notable. :P
The small time we actually spent behind our PC's was largely just doing what we always do behind our PC's.
We had like two small LAN CS:S matches, but that was really it.
Next year will be more organized on that front.

All in all, Campzone is just the perfect opportunity for us.
You might argue that the "LAN" part is wasted, because it wasn't used much.
However, the event revolved around us just hanging out together.
The fact that we're all gamers makes the availability of our PC's only very desirable.

Can't wait for next year, it's going to be so much better!
And it was already fucking radical!
