Yes Kayseth, that is where it is.

The netherlands has multiple airports, but only 1 is actually big, which is Schiphol airport near Amsterdam.
Schiphol airport has a big trainstation linked up to it.

LDT is LDT.

Maybe you can hitch a car ride with a fellow Dane.

stole it from some travel site - can not seem to find a price, but the most direct train I can find departs from Copenhagen at 6.53PM which arrives at Hamm(Westf) in Germany at 5.00AM. From there you switch to another train which departs at 5.59AM and arrives at 6.59AM in Rheine, which is close to the Holland border. In Rheine you catch a train at 8.20AM which arrives in Amsterdam Zuid at 11.01AM.
Total travel time is 16 hours and 8 minutes.

I'd say travelling wasn't that bad, somewhat expected really.
Not sure what the travel services are like in Denmark but here we can plan train journeys online, see how much it'll cost, how long it'll take and how we'll get there. (Do some research on it, you'll be better prepared rather than just being told.)

Early organisation might decrease the overall cost a lot.

Just a note, if you'd said you're definitely coming please be sure on that, it's nothing worse than see a large bunch of people say they'll come to only later on say oh no I can't make it, due to blah blah.

^ this.

It was kinda sad to see people, especially at the last minute, drop out even after saying they were definitely going.

For some reason the danish train websites won't show that you can drive down there. It's like the train station doesnt exist :o

We do not know yet, but the ticket plus the tent rental, cables, network, food, drink and other stuff, all inclusive, it will probably be at least 350.

That's about £280 or so then? I have £500 left in the bank from this summer, another £100 after whats left from this weekend. So if I save that £600 and the EMA I should get next year, I should definitely be able to go. ;P

I was disappointed that I had to apologise for not coming. I don't like the idea of spending money to sit in a tent with some guys I've never met before, when I can sit at home, happily on my bed, not spending any money.

I don't like spending money when it's not necessary.

Also there is a kitchen nearby.

EDIT: Didn't mean to make that sound so douche bag like. But you're people I only know from online :3

Was more than that really Snebbers, we sat outside too! xD

Seriously, the entire event was something way more than sitting in a tent playing games, sounds gay but everyone that went and did stuff together totally bonded and shiz. Met and talked to people outside the community and all round had a great time.
