When trying to craft powered rails earlier, I noticed that for some reason the recipe had changed to some illogical bollocks. You have to make something called standard rail which is made from 8 normal mine cart tracks, then make this into an advanced rail (requiring 3 gold ingots, 3 Redstone and 3 standard rail) and then craft 6 of these with Redstone and a set of stone sleepers (which are also stupidly hard to make).

It is impossible to make advanced rail because it simply will not work on the craft bench. It is also impossible to make powered rail using normal methods.

Please can you either fix this bug (don't know if its possible) or just remove completely whatever trainshit addon is messing with it. (if possible). Thanks

The recipe changed, it's a feature of railcraft not a bug.
You need to use a rolling machine to craft the rails.

And if sythen wanted to, he could set the recipes back to normal with a simple change of the railcraft config, although I like the new way better.

What happens when you use the wrong powered rail:

How much wood would a wood chuck say he would chuck if a wood chuck could say how much wood he'd chuck if he could indeed chuck wood?

Also a feature of the mod :P You need to go from the fast to the normal with a special rail.

It's complex, but it's a matter of opinion if it's stupid :P

I fail to see how any of it is logical. At least tekkit doesn't affect minecraft. To make a standard rail (only one part of track) it takes crafting 7 pieces of track. Wtf? It is just stupidly complex.

I fail to see how any of it is logical.

That however doesn't make it illogical, it makes perfect sense to me.
