They shouldn't automatically target wraiths. It makes the class useless.

I've seen it rarely happen when I've played as a wraith.

Actually, it's perfect for 'Black Ops' missions.

Many times I've got into their base and sniped a couple of people.
I've also stood in front of the barricade and as people come out, snipe. P:

They hardly see any zombies approaching them, as their lazer beam seeks out pretty much every corner except for what's straight on.
Their targetting system should be more intelligent.

I think they should be invisible until they attack or get damage anyway.

If you are bad as a Wraith, Your tapping W too fast.

Wraiths are used to snipe people, as BH pointed out.

If wraith get stealth while moving (or crouching for ex) they should have their attack lessen.

Sorry, I don't think I quite follow.
Define "sniping"?
And how does a Wraith attack exactly?

I've never tried it, because they seem so easy to defeat as a human.

Not quite the same as using a sniper rifle from a distance. :P It still has a melee attack and until the wraith moves or attacks, it stays invisible.

I use it in the sense of taking out targets of importance/low health when they get nearby and then returning to being invisible. Like if you get into their base without anyone noticing to being with, you can hide and then at the right moment take someone out without anyone knowing where you are.

Right... I'm usually one who takes terminology loosely, but one requirement for application of the word "Sniping" is that it at least needs to happen at a distance. :P

It's more a nuke or spike than a snipe if we're talking gaming terminology.

The first definition pretty much sums sniped up for me in this situation.

Urban Dictionary :(

To get owned or wrecked in a way that seemed nearly impossible. For someone or something to come out of seemingly no where to burn you. The rarest and most respected type of burn.

Guys, back2topic ?

I think the turret could use a slight buff.
Maybe add a small cone around the laser beam, so it doesn't directly have to point at something to target it.

Ok, I think it should only target someone when they are moving, attacking or using "Scream" (Press the Reload key to scream as Zombie, all Zombie classes have differante screams). AKA making the turret motion sensetive.

Also, lets see on the Wraiths pros and cons:
Pros
  • The Wraith have a strong melee attack that can instantly kill a weak survivor.
  • When standing still, the wraith is compleatly invinseble.
  • It have a fearsome scream that will instantly scare of 4 year old kids (in my oppinion).
Cons
  • It is a weak class with only 80 HP.
  • When attacking, the wraith speed is decresed to 0 (standing still).
  • (Cone that may be fixed in this thread) The Wraith can still be targeted by Turrets, even when invinseble.

I guess if it's in your opinion, you too get scared by it Catkiller.

May as well just remove scream, I don't see any effect other than a sound file.

Doesn't the scream also affect nearby player's vision in some way?
