Prices too low? Then buy a lot of it, right? :| Why would you complain about low prices?
Prices too high? Then don't buy it, right? :P There's bound to be someone else who can sell it to you for less.

Because someone had to undercut me by a small amount every time I made my prices EQUAL to theirs. :P

So I was like: Let's not waste hundreds of dollars on changing the signs every time we drop 1%. Let's just drop straight to the minimum, were headed for that anyways. xD

Which is fair enough Bob however I have no clear understanding of what the Trade-o-matic is.

Would it work like a currency or trading platform?

You can craft one, its in tekkit.
Its a machine that acts like a secure trading mechanism, selling items for other items.
However, it is glitched for other people.

It only works clientside, pretty much.
I made a bug report but it was ignored.

How about: we set a "Base Value" to the Credit's, like a 1 Coal is 0.3 credits, 1 diamond is 50 (1 diamond is 166 coal or something like that).

No, that would remove any form of bartering system :P

I think the stalls and plots at spawn was good when we had it, maybe we should get that again

Think about it, if you needed coal you could just set up a shop that buys coal, then everyone just goes there to dump it :)
And with buildcraft, you could even keep everything restocked more easily, or keep chests empty so people can always sell to them

How about a designated area near the spawn, where everyone has his own double chest, with a sign saying specifically what you want. Top half of double chest--->out
Bottom half------> in

Of course, this requires a lot of trust.

Goddammit, we need a fucking market set up and running on the server now.

I've been shearing innocent sheep all around nigger village for their wool and its starting to make me feel sorry for the nigger sheep that are having to go threw this painful experience of getting robbed from their wool.
My point being is I want other people to shear sheep and buy their wool from them so that I won't have nightmares of nigger sheep, but I cannot buy wool if there is no economy system.

Because he's the American LDT deserves, but not the one it needs right now.

Industrial Credits are a waste of iron

Just regular trading is totally fine, maybe add a trading section to the forums were people can request/offer stuff?
