This map is set at a Nuclear power facility, one of the traps on the map is to unload radioactive coolant into the bottom floors where the traitor tester is held ( there's another trap however I'll save it for now)
Some things remain from my original work on the map (that attempt at making a nuclear looking core thing for example) and I'm most likely going to re-make them. Everything is still pretty much at dev texture stage while I work out the scale of models and such around the map.

This is how my mind works when I approach maps these days.
It's all about the iteration.
That building needs more to it, so add a damn window!
O.k so now I want a clear path to the other side of the building, let's add another opening and keep symmetry!
Take a step back and have a look at the altered layout.
Yeah I'm happy with that, Oh wait that damn control room, there's a big space under the monitors, what if I.......
Yes I like it, not too dominating, just fits in right with the layout as a balance to the raised platform at the back.
If your not iterating an idea and you think everything is perfect, then your not mapping right
Anyway I'm off to play MC for a bit as this is all I've done for 2 days
