Been asked about my new map a few times and felt I'll just dump this thread down to show it, it's from an old map I worked on that I felt compelled to carry on, this will be the 1st map of three that I'm revisiting (ttt_nuclear, ttt_container and ttt_garage)

This map is set at a Nuclear power facility, one of the traps on the map is to unload radioactive coolant into the bottom floors where the traitor tester is held ( there's another trap however I'll save it for now)

Some things remain from my original work on the map (that attempt at making a nuclear looking core thing for example) and I'm most likely going to re-make them. Everything is still pretty much at dev texture stage while I work out the scale of models and such around the map.

Might try and work out some of the Dev textures today, I fucking hate them >_<

But more will probably flood back in when I'm populating areas, you can never escape from a dev texture :/

There will be props to mess about with, I have nuke waste barrels lying about but I'm sure I'll have explosive barrels somewhere for people to muck about with.

Well I'm trying to make it look all high tech to make it feel like a power station.

And yeah I thought the old clock was a nice touch :)

Yes I like it, not too dominating, just fits in right with the layout as a balance to the raised platform at the back.

If your not iterating an idea and you think everything is perfect, then your not mapping right :P

Anyway I'm off to play MC for a bit as this is all I've done for 2 days :D

Looks intruiging. Yeah about the futuristic thing, I mean more like, when picking ur textures, try not to use run down ones. But like really clean looking shiney ones :P

Oh I know that Domnom, I have a few that I've acquired that I want to use on this map, some of the interiors I want to looked like it's been lived in though and not fresh out of the wrapping.
