That reminds me, do you still rely on manually adding maps in the lua files?

It shouldn't be too hard to add a function to find and add the maps automatically, something along the lines of:

Then it's a simple case of adding or removing the .bsp file to add or remove a map, and you can just have a txt file like this:

DeathRace
Whoever Made It
A Race of Deeaaath! :P


Assuming your AddMap function can deal with a nil, you don't even need to add a .txt file until you know the map works :P
Edit: Actually, small edit, now it shouldn't pass a nil to AddMap :)

I'm afraid not everyone agrees with that, some people like the old one better.
That's why I kept both versions on.

I've got to keep as many people satisfied as possible.

Alright, I've replaced, updated and added some new maps.

Some maps which were made/put on the server but were never put in the vote. (Like Illum)
Some maps which were made but there was no stable version. (Like Splitter Crasher)
Some maps just got replaced by a more recent version. (Like Deathbowl and KaySethCircuit)

The only problem now is that these maps don't have thumbnails yet.
I'm not gonna waste my time on that, but if you would like to help here's what you can do.


Making a new thumbnail

Starting the map in Sandbox
1. Start up Gmod and click "Start New Game"
2. Select the map you would liketo make
3. Click the little wrench icon
4. Fill in "sandbox" in the "override" field

Taking the screenshot
5. Switch to the camera tool to remove your HUD
6. Take a screenshot however you like (Prt Scr, Camera tool, Steam screenshot thing)
7. Keep in mind the thumbnail is going to be 128x128: the sides will fall off and a lot of detail will be lost.
Make sure the thumbnail is representative of the map, and looks appealing.

Processing the image
8. Resize and crop it to a 128x128 or 256x256 picture.
9. Convert it to a .vtf and .vtm or just send it to me and I'll do it.
