LDT logo in hammer

Why two different scales? if people are unable to copy and/or scale it themselves, we most likely don't want their maps anyways.

There is nothing wrong with showing how good the logo looks in Garry's Mod. Besides, sometimes it's nice to start off with something too big than too small.

UPDATE:

  • Widened/fixed the "T" of "LDT"
  • Added the website address "www.LDT-CLAN.com"
  • Added a version with a cool spacer

NOTE:
  • Uses a white light texture and an orange dev texture. Don't understand how the old colour thing that Bamoy nicely added. (sorry)
  • The LDT of "www.LDT-CLAN.com" could be redone so it doesn't use the logo.
  • My Hammer was messing up. I haven't quite got everything right.

The color thing that I did was all one texture that had several different colors on it. Basically I just zoomed in really far on the colors.

Ahh, I thought as much after I posted the update. I thought it was like a texture containing every RGB colour and you had to put in like the code for the colour. :P

Retextured it with 'dev/dev_measurecolorscale01'.

Texture memory is 0.06mb. (Reduced from 1.56MB) ^_^

Also dan, you missed 4 brick001 textures. You should really have nodraw selected when making any kind of new geometry. Saves you all kinds of trouble in the long run.

DOWNLOAD: LDT-Logo-NEW-4.vmf

Make sure you have texture lock on when moving it or it might mess up the textures.

There isn't anything to show. It looks exactly like Dan's pic except its all one texture.

Geometry logs are for chumps, here's some textures that can be used as decals/overlays in hammer, you just have to pakrat them into the bsp.

 

Done as requested by bob, because I told him I'd rather use material logos.

I've updated the logos, since they had an extremely large and unnecessary invisible canvas around them, which made the file size 4 times larger than it had to be. I also fixed some minor color distortions around the edges.
 
Edit:
I also updated the VMT files. Each decal now have 4 different preset sizes to choose from with the decal tool (it can be tedious for you to manually resize all logos in your map with the overlay tool).
I also put the decals in their own folder to keep the materials folder organized and clean.
