I dont see why props should cost money at all.
There is no gameplaytechnical reason to do so.

Well richer people would be able to make better bases. So I guess it could be useful but the bases that you make are not permanent so if the server crashes / you crash then all of the money would be lost.

Stops people spamming props i guess.

Btw at the pawn shop by the railroad at the back of the map (where my_hat always bases) the doors automatically lock every time they get closed. Its very annoying for the police.

Proplimit = 20, so the biggest base would still cost you a 100. Seems a reasonable price?

To grief one doesn't need many props. A few of the largest ones will do.
I think that argument for prop-payment is therefor invalid. Propspam should be discouraged in other ways.

And when the price per prop is so low, why not just make it free?
Meh it actually doesn't really matter I guess.

If you're going to make it 10 per prop, and put a prop cost, we have to raise the starting money by a good bit. $500 isn't even enough at the MOMENT with NO prop cost to start out making money, you can't buy any shipments, can';t buy printers, etc. Leave it at no cost for now until we finish the balancing of the economy :o

Also, just wondering if you know that some spawn points get you stuck in the corner of the tunnel and is VERY annoying :P

just kill yourself, you just spawned anyway. Nothing to lose. ITs a map glitch, we cant do anything without editting the spawns.

I personally think a 20 prop limit is far to low! 50-100 is much more realistic maybe 75 to meet in the middle!

We may look at a higher one (50) for donators and admins, but really, why would you need that much?

I already have a gun store that has all the gun props as a display, these alone are over 20. It's meant to be Roleplay there for a shop should be as "realistic" as possible, along with playing your character correctly. I know this from another thread but it applies to what I'm saying.

I dislike the role "thief" in general, there's tonnes of different criminal classes, why couldn't a gun dealer snatch your stuff if he saw it just lying there? People are greedy.
Unless I'm a part of the law enforcement, I wouldn't think for a second if I saw someones moneyprinter laying around, and just take it.


You saying anyone can steal anything is stupid, its like saying everyone can trade anything or sell guns, then whats the point of having a weapon merchant or trader!?

Lol, why wouldn't you be able to sell your guns? Of course you can, if you want. It's just kinda hard making profit when you're not a gun dealer yourself. xD
If you posses an item, you can always sell it to people, would you want to make non-shop trading illegal? That's bullshit. ¬¬
